More than sixty people were in attendance at the Lemay Homes Groundbreaking ceremony to mark the beginning of construction of 40 new single-family homes in Lemay. The Housing Partnership and Rise Community Development closed on the $9.0 million development with the Missouri Housing Development Commission, St. Louis County, PNC Bank and Sugar Creek Capital.
Lemay Homes features 36 three-bedroom homes and 4 four-bedroom homes with functional floor plans, durable exterior finishes, and energy efficient appliances. All of the homes are being built using sustainable guidelines and will incorporate features of Universal Design.
These homes are available for lease-purchase for families earning 60 percent or less of Area Median Income. Approximate Rents range from $570.00 – $775.00 / month. Construction began in July, 2015 and all forty homes will be completed by the end of 2016.
