Lemay Homes Ribbon Cutting – Completion of 40 New Construction Homes

A ribbon cutting ceremony was held on Tuesday, November 15, 2016 to celebrate the completion of the Lemay Homes, 40 new construction single family lease-purchase homes. The Housing Partnership (THP) and Rise hosted the celebration at the Hancock Place School District Administration building. Reginald Scott, Executive Director of LHP and Stephen Acree, President of Rise served as Masters of Ceremonies. Speakers included Kevin O’Leary, St. Louis County Council-6th District; James M. Heard, St. Louis Field Office Director US. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD); Mike Vogt, South County Specialist, St Louis Economic Development Partnership; Dr. Philip Mannhard, Chairman of The Housing Partnership Board of Directors and Dr. Kevin Carl, Superintendent of Hancock School District, who discussed the increase of 50 new students to the Hancock school system! All of the speakers expressed the importance of Lemay Homes and the positive impact the development, and the families who live in them, have on the community and the growth of Lemay.
