The Housing Partnership has hired James Trout as the new Housing and Construction Manager. James will manage THP’s Residential Development projects and the Home Repair Program. James comes from a 30 year history in construction and development, from managing residential rehabs in historic Benton Park to new construction commercial in the suburbs. The past 6 years James has worked in energy efficiency and indoor environmentals with Missouri Department of Natural Resource’s Energy Division and more recently at the Community Action Agency of St Louis County.
James chaired the Governor’s Council on Disability these past four years and previously chaired or served as a Director with the Missouri Realtors Association, Missouri Association of Energy Professionals, the city Home Builder’s Association, Energy-Care, and Adaptability. James Trout has also served on work groups with the International Code Council, National Coalition on Healthy Homes, Missouri UD (universal design), US Green Building Council and holds certifications with National Environmental Health Association and the Building Performance Institute.
